Lisa O. joined our staff in Spring of 2017 as a full-time receptionist at the Kirkland location. She is currently in school working towards her Bachelor's Degree in Biology and she will soon obtain her Veterinary Medication Clerk License. She says she has always known that she wanted to work with animals in some capacity and hopes to someday work in wildlife management! She takes an interest in wildlife preservation (such as tracking game animals and protecting endangered species) and hopes to work in the Puget Sound area.
Lisa O. says that her favorite aspect of veterinary medicine is that seeing and being around happy critters is so fulfilling! At home, she shares her life with a sassy Red Iguana named "Beezlebub" (AKA "Beezles", "The Beez", or "The Management"). She also loves to spend time with her family's Miniature Dachshund, "Minky". Lisa says when she's not at NWAES she is working on her online courses, practicing the banjo, or trying to get "Beezles" out from behind the refrigerator (his beloved hiding spot)!
