Dr. Annajane Marlar
Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists
Dr. Marlar is originally from England. She earned her veterinary degree from Auburn University in 1990. After a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Cornell University, she went on to complete a residency in veterinary and comparative ophthalmology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where her areas of research included corneal wound healing and fungal keratitis. In addition to her clinical work with her patients and clients, Dr. Marlar has served on several committees within the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists and the Board of Veterinary Ophthalmology. She was also a member of the editorial board of the journal Veterinary Ophthalmology from 2008 to 2014. She has provided clinical consultation services to a number of zoo and wildlife conservation institutions both in the US and internationally and enjoys these collaborative opportunities greatly.
When not working, Dr. Marlar enjoys the outdoors, travel, painting and spending time with family, friends and pets.
